T.H.I.S. Yoga is a comprehensive health and wellness program designed to address and promote optimal mental, social-emotional, and physical health. Created with the various needs of the “whole-child” in mind, T.H.I.S. Yoga utilizes the most effective therapeutic strategies and skill development techniques, combined with opportunities to explore different aspects of movement, mindfulness, and breath control. 
And…. it’s a lot of fun!

WORKSHOPS

Groups will focus on strategies for overall mental health and wellness, as well as on more specific areas of need, such as:


  • ADHD and executive functioning (e.g.: self-monitoring, emotional regulation, mental planning/organization, etc.).


  • Self-esteem, self-care, and self-confidence building.


  • Developing and maintaining healthy life-style habits.


  • Exploring how moving our bodies and controlling our breath help to reduce our worries and quiet our minds.


  • Mindfulness training designed to bring awareness to, and change any negative thought patterns, while increasing our overall feelings of happiness and gratitude.

Sessions are 60 minutes, once a week, and taught in a small group format. Groups are generally arranged by age, although there are opportunities to form your own group. This option is time-limited, so if this is appealing to you, please reach out to Dr. Jenn at Carlsonpsych@gmail.com, ASAP.
